I hope for 2 things: 1. that not all the jokes were revealed in the trailer
2. that it doesn't suck as much as the trailer would suggest

I am hyped about this, they showed nothing, but just enough, and he plays the hero, better then crystal skull where some random kid was doing most of the action, they got old actors back, i say it will rock, or boulder :)
I assure you they have been working on this for a long time, this is a teaser trailer, not the final trailer i assume.

Phoebe Mary Waller-Bridge is in it.... and she writes such f... good characters.... or she's just there to even out the "male energy" so the lesbians and woke-popo don't have a fit.... yeah nevermind!
She's a treasure though!

I'm going to watch this with an immense amount of skeptiscm.
Probably with a preceding critical drinker review.
My concerns are that I don't know if Harrison is into it anymore. Less to do with his age and more to do with who he is as a person.
He doesn't hang onto his characters, he takes them for what they were in that time in his career. It's good for him as a man and I respect that for what it is. But it is terrible for fans of his franchises. In a way he resents his fans. I think it has to do with how he handled being so famous. He's the type of person that wishes he was invisble in his normal life, and he doesn't like being put on a pedestal by regular people.
You could see that in how he played Solo for the last time, you could see it in how he talked about playing that role again, and you could definitely see that in how treats starwars fans.
I can't help but feel like we are going to see some of that in this film too.
Harrison aside. What was really magical about the first three films were practical effects, hand crafted sets, and reshooting scenes many times until the moments were just right. While still some scenes that made it first shot, due to some very real moments when harrison was injured, and the shot was perfect in it's own unique way just as it was.
I don't see much of that here.
I'll still give it a shot, but I'm not expecting anything beyond slightly above average for a film experience.
