Going to be interesting to see. The defense's case will try to ask the question: If Bill gave Monica 5$ to dryclean her little black dress all those years ago.. does that also not constitute hush money? And why wasn't he indicated.

As far as I understand it the problem is not paying as such, it is where the money was sourced from.

Giving someone money to shut up about something is not illegal as long as this something is not a crime (cheating on your wife and staining a dress with semen isn't afaik)

In trumps case it appears he was too "tight", "proud" (in the sense of miffed, "that bitch doesn't get any of MAAAAAAAr MONAAAYYY") or embarrassed to pay from his own account but rather used (or got someone to use) money that wasn't his.

Also a big lol at the woke spell checker that identifies "bitch" as "Probably offensive language.")

This will be sooooo entertaining!

Especially how the bible belters will justify him cheating (repeatedly) on his wife (wives actually), and all the arguments pro lying and pro using voters' money when they think he is serving their political agenda.

Oh and Fox will now start to modify their approach too. SNAP!

When it comes Trump, all of a sudden the left want to talk about his morality.

Here is a tip.

If you think killing unborn babies is health care, if you think men can put a dress in and become an actual woman, if you think sodomy is a valid expression of a marriage and if you think sexualizing children necessary for the sake of freedom, then you have no ground to stand on a point at the moral failings any other person let alone Trump.

Along long time ago in a year called 2006 Donald may or may not have screwed a blonde with big tits!

So what? At least he knows its wrong and isn't trying to justify immoral acts as normal behavior

"When it comes Trump, all of a sudden the left want to talk about his morality."

It is quite the opposite actually:
When it comes Trump, the tards happily ignore his morality. The they try to divert to other "issues" because they don't really have a leg to stand on. Hilarious if you ask me.

"At least he knows its wrong..."

Only a true tard would believe that.

Oh and you forgot "the election was rigged", "Trump won", and "he never called for violence on Jan 6".

Stupid fools have only made him more powerful by doing this. They should have stuck to the strategy of marginalizing him.

This was already looked over by the DOJ (For what that's worth) and they determined there was nothing worth pursuing paired with an official signed statement from the woman that claimed this never even happened.

Still have a long way to go before they can sentence him to house arrest from where he can still campaign. (Assuming this makes it there.)

This debacle also overturns precedent established since the founding of the republic where you do not indict or charge presidents and former presidents due to how dangerous this is for the country.

So assuming this goes through, does that mean we also go after Obama and Bush who committed real crimes? Of course not.

This logic does not apply universally, which means it is not logic, it's propaganda.

Agree with you. Of all the things to go after him on  - this was what they went with?  Using this to just marginalize him for the upcoming campaign would have probably had most 'value added'.  Now he'll say 'witch hunt' and the cowd will go wild.
