My neighbor had a spot on a peak on his house that was peeling. He didn't want to pay a painter and asked if I would help. I said no way and warned him about using a ladder. Pros use a motorized lift. He gave me a ton of shit about being afraid blah, blah, blah. Two days later an ambulance flew by my house. I ran over and he had fallen off of his ladder. Broken back, concussion, TBI, and out of commission completely for a year at least. Fucked for life.
My last day on a ladder was cleaning my house gutters in my late 20's. I'll never get on a ladder again and don't recommend it to anyone over 30. Dangerous shit and when you don't do it a lot, you are just basically a rookie. It's just not worth it.
