kinda but not really. you got to think of the countless conversations that didn't go anywhere. for a while now, i've been doing this thing where i recognized that i wont change someones opinion. but what i can do. is describe and point out what their opinion is in a fashion that makes them uncomfortable with having those opinions or at minimum, get them to stop sharing their opinions

99% of internet arguments people won't change their minds, no matter what. It's because it's an argument.
If it's a "normal conversation", it might actually happen more often.
