While I think the CBC could be defunded for other reasons I've always felt they were impartial with their political coverage, whatever the ruling party was. But wait... You're only learning now that it was Russian trolls that sent you and your friends down Highway 401 to Ottawa?

Parties don't matter. Harper, Singh, Trudeau, Pollivre. Same agenda. They just give you different pieces. Harper is a member of the committee of 300. The other three are WEF agenda contributors.
The convoy was not a Russian concoction. Canadians are angry about the direction our country is taking. The convoy was the nice way of expressing that.

What purpose would the Russians have in starting the convoy? Canada is not important to Russia.
Also, I haven't used Facebook in many years.

Looking at the destabilizing effect on trade with the US when the bridge closed, you're right. It was probably the Chinese. I'm just saying you'd be keen to look into the possibility of outside influence.

Let's say for a second this was the case. The government could have ended the situation immediately by dropping the mandates at midnight of the first day instead of months later.
Let's also say the government had no intention of being obedient, but this was a legitimate national security threat from an outside provocation. That would have authorized the military to take immediate action and clear it. The Trudeau administration did try to get the military involved in the first days, and they got a middle finger as a response.
They chose neither of those options, because they couldn't square it. Instead they wanted to blame the real damages done to trade through 2 years of lock downs on the Russians instead. Much like Radlibs in the U.S. blame their problems on Trump. Same play book.
My conclusion. This was a simple as it could get. Canadians attempted local protests for the previous year. Would get broken up by the police. So like minded Canadians banded together and created a massive one that could not be removed without great difficulty.
All throughout the media including CBC used every tool at their disposal to smear it. The days leading up, they denied it's existence, when the existence couldn't be denied, they claimed it was smaller than it was. When it arrived Someone sent provocateurs with a nazi flag on a side street blocks away from the event, and the news claimed they spoke on behalf of the protest. (I know exactly where they were, nowehere near the event because they probably would have caught a beat down.)
After the first wave of trucks made it through, the police mobilized to cut off the overwhelming amount of follow up trucks by erecting barricades outside the city and closing bridges to the city so that the media could ignore them and advertise to people how this was a 1000 trucks instead over 10'000 as was actually the case. The would use camera angles of small sections of protestors rather than showing the true number of uncountable thousands that were there on the weekends. Still hundreds on the work days too. In fact, our slowest days were still larger than the best the counter protests could muster on the weekends.
So with all of that in mind. I am not surprised that they would also blame Russia for the event.

'So with all that in mind...'
You sure you got any room left? ;-)
Listen, it's fun speed-reading the above but you're misrepresenting. JT surprised even Poilievre with how quick he gave up emergency powers soon as the protest was broken up. Now given we know you're talking about the mandated injections themselves, I told you at the time we actually lost a family member to COVID...proper. So you'll forgive if some of us have a different take on things. When you say 'mandate' with disdain I'll say 'go petition mandated poleo-smallpox-rubella in front of your kid's school'... Or admit you're being hypocritical here.

I've lost a family member to the vaccine. That about evens up.
The reason he gave up emergency powers so quickly was because it couldn't pass the senate. He was trying to save his image, not the well being of the country. They had all the tools they needed to disperse the protest without using emergency powers. They used them to spread fear, and to test their de banking tools which will be used much more liberally in the future.
Not that the protest needed to be dispersed. Police numbers went down during the protest, but also so did crime rates. Imagine that.
The last polio epidemic wasn't polio. It was DDT poisoning. DDT was banned in the 1970's and when the illness stopped, they claimed Polio was wiped out by the vaccine.
Are you claiming all vaccines are equal and safe? You should look into the swine flu vaccines of the 1970's and the anthrax vaccines of the 1990's. Pretty stark stuff there.
Or the fact that Phizer has been found guilty of the largest criminal settlements in legal history and forced to pay 100's of millions in damages from their products.
So you'll pardon me if I don't trust their products.

i can answer that one. he's got a friend that died "suddenly" while making breakfast three and half months after getting the vaccine shot. the hospital, police and fire department all say he was electrocuted when he brought the toaster into the shower but its because george soros and bill gates' vaccine made him magnetic and the toaster was drawn to him.

This individual was a family member. Had good blood work one month before. Took a dose of the covid vaccine. I'm not aware of which one as my family is having a difficult time acquiring the death certificate. Was dead in 3 days from an unbelievable amount of blood clots.

Sorry for your loss. Will be interesting to see if it's the AZ one, which I believe dropped from the list of contenders by the end, where it was pretty much down to moderna or Pfizer, both of which were mRNA and did the best. Here in Quebec we had novavax available for those who preferred original recipe. The family should get a lawyer on that if wrongful death is suspected.
As I told you about our situation previously, we lost an uncle to covid 3 times over. Let me explain. He got turned away from the hospital after waiting in the ER all day, twice, cause emergency rooms were full on account of the pandemic. Finally being brought in via ambulance only to catch covid in hospital and die. So, yeah. We're on the other side of the pandemic now so they can't argue they don't have time to provide records. If you suspect a cover up, get yourselves a lawyer. And good luck.
