what they're gonna do at the hospital is treat his burn dude, that's a thing. large burns or anything severe enough to cause charred or white skin should absolutely be treated at a hospital.

They dont treat burns. Unless it requires skin grafts. If there is blistering then you have to make sure infection does not set in, otherwise it is up to the body to repair and heal. There is nothing they can do. I've seen a hell of lot more serious burns than that and the people just let it heal, 2 weeks time its good to go.
