Our resident полезные дурак with the hard-hitting and diverse sources. Taking the word of an authoritarian regime's media mouthpiece over a Joint Investigative Team's conclusion of a 4 year investigation. The investigation team is made up of the countries that suffered civilian casualties in the crash, fyi.

I don't take anyone's word for anything. If anything I've mentioned is false or dubious, simply debunk it. Or trust Fox News to tell you the truth. Your call.

All of that has been debunked by the JIT investigation, which concluded beyond reasonable doubt that it was a russian BUK missile system responsible for the downing of MH17. You might struggle with the word reasonable, but hey. Why would I waste my time on the ravings of sputniknews? I'll leave that to you.

It hasn't gone to court yet but you believe it's been "concluded beyond reasonable doubt".

Actually from reuters, but this report was the first I found on youtube. Doesn't change the conclusion of the investigation. There's even a named suspect to go along with all of this, I am sure more will come. Cling to those straws, полезные дурак.

Ok. This is the first thing you see when you click/tap on that little link of yours: Probe:that downed MH17 came from Russia-based unit.
Are you trying to be a Putinbot out of irony, or do you actually believe in what your typing.
How can you explain how Putin has stayed in power for so long in a supposedly democratic country? Is he really that great a leader that his fellow countrymen can't bare to see him leave the seat of office? Or is it that he uses smear campaigns, lies and outright murder on his opponents. Like when his political opponent got murdered out front of the kremlin?

Yes that is the headline of the article where it also states that the JIT is not certain that the missile that they're displaying is the one that downed the airliner.
The fact that you see that headline and think "Putin did it" is more a reflection of your bias than mine.
I'm not being ironic. I'm being objective & also figure it's worth countering this obviously biased media coverage because nobody learns anything in an echo chamber.
After spending 5 minutes objectively looking at the evidence I consider this to be nothing more than trial by media at this point. The Russian side of this case is being almost completely ignored. Anyone who questions it is a "Putinbot" to you - why is that?
It's just sad that so many people, like yourself, look at that headline and immediately assume that the Russian government shot down a civilian airrliner & killed ~300 people without even asking why they would do such a thing or whether the evidence proves it or not.

Hell fucking yeah I'm biased. A Russian missile shot down a fucking civilian aircraft with over 30 of my fellow countrymen (Australia). And these weren't just ozzies on a tourist trip. They where AIDS researchers, traveling to a conference with their families.
Now I never stated anywhere that Russia deliberately shot down MH17. But they did. And everyone on that flight is dead thanks to a Russian made anti aircraft missile.
Putin probably knew everything that there could be to know about the incident within half an hour/hour after the fact. From where the missile was fired right down to the crew members operating the anti-aircrafts families names. (You gotta remember. Russian government may be many things, but being shit at gathering information/intelligence isn't one of there failings)
But let's brush past my MH17 bias for a moment. Perhaps you can answer for me the other points in my former comment from your lofty, not sad, unbiased perspective.

Annnnnd Putin denied everything. Huge surprise
(Old Spike)
No mention of the Russian counter argument. Smells like FakeNews.
- What was the motive?
Some counter arguments to "Russia did it":
- JIT is not certain that the missile was used [1]
- Since 2011, Russia doesn't use those missiles [2]
- Russia has provided evidence Ukraine shot it down. JIT ignored the evidence [3]
- Ukraine is part of the investigation team. [3]
- Russian proposals for a more cooperative investigation were refused [3]
