LOL I remember many years ago hearing that was fake but never saw it broken down. Interesting how the jumpy, first-person film style became popular in movies and TV.

This just in: "Shakey camera gives slight air of credibility to fake lion attack footage!" "Zoom in! Zoom out! Pan wildly! Mannequin foot! Print! Profit on crappy 80's VHS tapes mixed in with real death footage! BRILLIANT!!!"

Me & my Dad rented a bunch of these back in the 80's. Even then (at around 13) I could tell many of these were fake. The "execution" was absurd, the 'blood' was ketchup!

this shear level of retardation shown here is extraordinary.
it seems we weren't lucky as they still have the capability to reproduce. good effort attempting to end that ability though.

Leopards would have killed them instantly. Cheetahs aren't on record killing people

Yeah. From what I heard about cheetahs, if you are under 5ft something they will consider you as prey they could potentially tackle.
Mother in law was thinking about doing the 'meet a cheetah' where you can get up close and pet them, but she's tiny (like 4ft 9 or something) and they warned her that they might see her as prey

Yeah, that kid's chances of surviving to adulthood are questionable.

Ever since I had a son, my perspective on videos in general on the internet has severely change. I now get such a pang of pain when I see picture of kids dying of hunger somewhere in the world, which before I was totally desensitized to. Having travelled over much of South Africa, and done several Safaris, I've seen how lifelong local tour guides respect fauna. They themselves at times just sat inside the Land Rover, because they understood that you just DON'T fuck with nature. These people didn't get out of the car because they're stupid: they got out because of pride, because they feel like they own the world. So of course when they got out and started walking around, they were letting everyone know how superior they were, and so it made sense for nature to humble them the way it always does: violence. But when that toddler got out and started walking around I inmediatly started thinking "Get back in the car you fucking idiots". They were lucky, and indeed got away because these were "just" Cheetahs. Lions or Leopards would have made short work of them.

What the fuck indeed - are those guys Germans? What language is that - apparently nothing short of "what the fuck?" will do in this situation, regardless of language.
