Quantum effect on polarized light

Bell's Theorem: The Quantum Venn Diagram Paradox

A really interesting effect I wasn't previously aware of. Personal theory is that the polarizers aren't actually blocking or allowing photons, but altering them.

Seems to me the filter just isn't an all or nothing.  Sound like going from 0 degrees to 90 degrees is enough to  block almost all of them, but going from 0 degrees to 45, blocks some, allows some, AND deflects some at an angle.

That would explain why half way between 0 and 45 degrees isn't 75% but rather 85%.  It's like adding multiple smaller angles causes the photons to be deflected more gradually in a spiral so that they continue to pass through the next filter, where as too great of an angle would stop all of them.
