Isn't this a function on some escalators? I've seen vids from pommy land of riot police getting/herding footy holigans onto one of these, one of the riot cops gets out some keys sticks em into the escalator, turns them, then shoom! Footy holigans flying down a escalator just like in this vid.
Its good to see things like this happen to people who deserve it.
