I'm glad there is a republican (this guy can't be democrat, I'm sorry but that's not how this works) to help translate some awesome content from our friends across the pond. (unite with superpowers not with idiot democrats) thats what I have to say about that. Enjoy the show.

That may be more than necessary.

Having more screws reduces the strain on any single screw. Considering the driving conditions are also packed snow having more screws will only increase traction.

Maybe but I am willing to bet there is some trade off curve. Maybe adding 200 screws gets him to 95% possible traction then adding 200 more only get him that last 5%. And with other variables like tire pressure and temperature may even add/reduce this by 10%. Also the weight per screw may determine how much traction is applied into the ice, is it more effective to have 50% the screws and double the weight? Also with the screws so close together, if they are not all the exact same height some in between two taller ones may hold up a middle one. This impact of the difference gets more significant with the more screws applied.

The truth is, he didn't need this many screws, this guy just likes screwing. :)

You guys are aware that the first Nike (Blue Ribbon Sports) shoes were made with a Waffle Iron right? Don't be afraid to innovate.
