Spicer was not an "original supporter".  He was an establish man and spoke against Trump during the campaign as Communications Director of the RNC.

If you're going to write a salty diatribe to vent about having lost the 2016 election, thus having your cultural Marxist agenda blown the fuck out, at least do a little homework so you don't say stupid shit.

I wasn't aware of this so I went and looked it up.  Spicer's most cutting criticisms of Trump is that, "painting Mexican Americans with that kind of a brush, I think that's probably something that is not helpful to the cause."  He also appropriately responded to Trump mocking John McCain ("I like people who weren't captured.") by stating, "there is no place in our party or our country for comments that disparage those who have served honorably.  
 
So Spicer criticized Trump like anyone who has common sense criticized Trump.  At the end of the day, Spicer helped the man get elected simply by being an influential member of the RNC and then worked for him as his whipping boy.  What you said above seems deceptive.

What I'd like to know is what do all of these richer than rich people want with public service? Do all of them just enjoy helping people, getting lousy pay in comparison out of the goodness in their hearts? 

My guess is nope! So, what's left? Well, they're all there to get richer and that should benefit everyone else, right?
