There are plenty of vids where Tyson is supportive of Spacex innovation and rapid rate of development. An example you can search on YouTube is one interview he did with Travis Smiley, and they were talking about the fueling explosion for the AMOS-6 mission.
The vid of Armstrong and Cernan testifying in congress. Their statements are cerntainly harsh. I could be wrong, but I think 1 of those astronauts retracted or clarified that he weren't specifically trying to stop spacex, that he was more concerned about a cancellation of the SLS rocket program.
