at a guess it's possible the magnitude of the impact and explosion had something to do with it.

I get why it happens on the drone ship but why they would use wireless feed on the ground. Cheaper I guess.

Yes, it really looks very odd when you look at it frame by frame. Shadows and objects suddenly appearing and everything is way brighter.

Well, not quite there yet, I guess. They should re-direct all the hyperloop efforts into this as this looks at least feasible.

one of the 2 engines flamed out at the last few seconds, making the rocket drop to the ground too quickly. musk tweeted that there wasn't enough pressure in the small fuel tank used to start the landing burn. when the rocket is falling horizontally, the fuel doesn't collect at the drain in the bottom of main fuel tanks, so this rocket has a small spare fuel tank that's kept full for the landing burn.
