Google just kicked Huawei in the dick but it's not quite as bad as the video portrays - Huawei can just load EMUI on AOSP and have a third party distributor in Europe or elsewhere load Google apps for consumers. Chinese companies have already been doing this since Google apps are restricted in China.

I wouldn't pick Huawei because they are spying on me, but because they are losing support from Google. My kids a wife all have a Huawei phone. Just hope they don't drop support on older models.
