For the Trekkies (Trekkers?) following Star Trek Strange New Worlds this year. It's good, but they definitely went down their own road (timeline) last week when 2 members of the Enterprise went back in time.. to 2023 Toronto...I mean where else, right?
Did they break the entire franchise? Or, conversely, does this just open it up for people to enjoy the new show without worrying about what's supposed to come after.. Also Khan is Canadian now.
Anyway, as Kirk himself once said: Come, come, Mr. Scott. Young minds, fresh ideas. Be tolerant.

You can't change the past, if you travel back in time you have already been there before you travel hence a time traveler may see himself at some point, and then later fulfill the deed by traveling back and meeting himself, if you hand yourself a note and then you decide to write the same note to travel back and hand it to yourself you will see that both notes are identical, and even when you try to switch em up you will always take the new written note to hand to yourself if you don't disaster strikes you preventing you from handing the old note, you will deliver the new note and you should not brush in against the hairs of destiny or fait or you create an alternate reality that will fail at some point.

Yep. We saw that 20+ years ago when that guy was unable to kill a helpless Neo strapped to the chair. But that was about fulfillment of prophecy. He's like, 'if you're the chosen one then I shouldn't be able to do what comes next (kill you)'. And the rest..well.. is history ;-)
