I'm thinking its the 50 years of Cold War, the thousands of Nuclear Weapons aimed at the US, the cripping sanctions placed by the US Governemnt on their economy over the invasion of Ukraine as they applied to the European Union, and their push to restore their military influence over their former Soviet Bloc states.

The cold war is over, the nukes are not "pointed" in any direction. The sanctions are just a way the U.S. gains power advantage, Russia broke no laws in going into Crimea since the president asked for their help. The sanctions are in fact illegal since Russia is a WTO member. Russia is off course going to dominate within it's sphere since it's the largest economy... wtf has that got to do with the USA...

Yeah, because their strategic arsenal of 2600 ICBMs are pointed at all the countries without nuclear weapons..ya know with their inability to totally obliterate them in MAD and what not. The cold is over, which is why I said it lasted 50 years not 75 years. That being said, you still have entire generations of people who grew up cowering under their school desks in simulated nuclear strike drills to contend with. And you're completely correct about Ukraine, however, what Ukraine and everyone else didn't expect was for Russia to STAY in Crimea and keep it for themselves. Thats where the sanctions came from. Lastly, The EU has by far the largest economic influence in the area. Germany, France, the U.K. and Italy, individually all have larger economies than Russia does. Remember again, you asked "Why are they conidered(sp) an enemy of the U.S.", not; "Why ARE they an enemy of the United States."
FYI, not a Trumper, Just a University Economics and History graduate. This is my jam. Oh and I totally agree with you about Israel.
