I hope it comes to a peace deal soon, it all just ain't worth it.

Resume trade, learn to trust again, they have made their point they don't like NATO expansion to the east, i am sure ppl will take notice now.

nobody's in a mood to negotiate at the moment.

Not Moscow, not Kyiv & not Kyiv's handlers in DC.

It could take a change in US administration for the Russians to be comfy with cutting a deal.

Don't worry tho man, it's only Europeans dying.

no peace peace deal and it's completely worth it because you can't guarantee a peace deal, you can't enforce it either. invaded twice in 10 years, a pinky swear isn't going to convince anyone a third invasion isn't a few years down the road

we're gaining so much out of this. its cheaper to keep ukrainians in ukraine than have them flea to neighboring countries. we're selling off old military equipment and using the money that's being "donated" to ukraine to buy ourselves new equipment. we're testing out military equipment in real situations with 0% chance of causalities. we're seeing how the russian military system works, how their soldiers fight, we're gaining experience from watching the ukrainians fight and in a few months we'll be seeing how ukrainians trained by nato fight, which will tells us how well out system works against russias. i say its worth it because we're getting all this, ukraine gets the ability to keep fighting for its sovereignty and it slows down russia from getting to other non-nato countries it deems is historically russian territory with nazis in it

it's a solid "maybe" at this point. NATO doesn't have the production capacity to keep up with Russia's war machine & are unable to seriously harm Russia's economy or political standing outside the US empire bloc. It would all depend on the nature of the war & really neither side can win or lose koz nooks. If either side did get close to a big victory we should all be nervous, those of us who have any value on our lives - wait, this is Spiked, never mind. Go go go! Nuke the planet! Charlatan9000 can upload footage of charred Russian bodies from hell.

"no peace peace deal and it's completely worth it because you can't guarantee a peace deal, you can't enforce it either. invaded twice in 10 years, a pinky swear isn't going to convince anyone a third invasion isn't a few years down the road"

You can retaliate with overwhelming force and an upgraded production capacity, new stocks of weapons, and replenished and buffed up troops if the peace deal is broken. So yes it is enforceable. What's not recoverable is Ukraine losing everything in defeat. Those dead people arn't coming back.

"we're gaining so much out of this. its cheaper to keep ukrainians in ukraine than have them flea to neighboring countries."

We aren't gaining anything except inflation that isn't going away, and debt to the international bank of settlements we can never repay.  We have no obligation to take in immigrants, nor should we.

"we're selling off old military equipment and using the money that's being "donated" to ukraine to buy ourselves new equipment."

We aren't getting paid for this, we are paying for this out of pocket. That's the wrong way to run a proxy war.

When doing this properly you demand payment up front so win or lose you come out on top. No more money? No more weapons.

" we're testing out military equipment in real situations with 0% chance of causalities." Once inflation gets out of control it will kill more than the war itself.

"we're seeing how the russian military system works, how their soldiers fight, we're gaining experience from watching the ukrainians fight and in a few months we'll be seeing how ukrainians trained by nato fight, which will tells us how well out system works against russias. i say its worth it because we're getting all this, ukraine gets the ability to keep fighting for its sovereignty and it slows down russia from getting to other non-nato countries it deems is historically russian territory with nazis in it"

We already have the strategy to defeat them. Same way we do every war, demolish everything with bombing runs. If they have too much AA, use a super weapon and clear the way. Crude, but effective. Maybe YOU are learning how Russia fights, but to anyone else Russia fights the same way now that they have for hundreds of years.

You see, in the end. The States won't be there. But Russia will remain. It's the neighboring country...

So since we aren't gaining anything but misery out of this every idea you have crashes and burns.

One way or another this conflict needs to end soon. Between Ukraine and Russia 60% of the worlds grain come from those regions. Farming needs to resume and food needs to start flowing.

But, since this affects mostly brown people you don't care.
