I think if we try really, really, reeeeeeaaaaaaally hard we may find information from reputable sources on this topic.

  1. open new tab
  2. type "google.com" in address bar
  3. type "sun influence on storms" in search bar
  4. click on first link (but it's all a conspiracyyyyyyyyyyyy)

WOW, this took a lot of energy, better go and crawl under the blanket and curl up like a baby duckling again.....

So whats your point? The guy isn't disagreeing with NASA, but suggesting a link between solar activity and hurricanes.

The point being is that the guy has VERY limited resources and relies mostly on observations on basis of which he seeks patterns (that are in line with his bias).

Solar flares -> huricane activity

The other recent one was also based on

solar activity -> cold finnish summer -> local weather phenomenon overrides current climate science

Then he tries to discredit scientifically collected data because he does not understand how the process works.

How much do really know about this guy and his expertise on the subject and how many of his video have you actually watched to make all those assumptions?

The resources that he uses are online at anyone's disposal. You might be surprised how much data you can look up if you just want to. He uses NASA among many other sources. If your interested in the suns activity there are sites that are updated by the hour with tons of data. He's been doing daily videos for years now on solar activity based on those. You might not agree what he is suggesting here, but one thing he does not lack is resources to do his on research.

Anyway his daily videos isn't about constantly pushing some alternative explanation, but just a daily report on space weather. If he finds some new patterns there, why not tell about it.  He has actually found patterns in solar activity and earth quakes. He has an ongoing earth quake prediction program going on that has been fairly successful.

And about Finlands cold weather was nothing but an observation about NOAA chart being inconsistent with what finlands meteorological center actually reported.

Maybe, I haven't looked into his channel. His "bashing" of the NOAA data did not give me much confidence in his expertise.

If I compare this to a conversation I had on facebook about regulations regarding the potentially dangerous dogs in spain.
The guy I was talking to insisted he was right although he had his information from a translation of the law (british twat that lives here but does not speak a word of spanish). I don't need a translation and have the information from my wife, who is a lawyer dedicating much of her free time to animal rights and related issues, so she's the expert.

Which information do you think is more trustworthy?
