They Live is a wonderful film an one of my absolute favorites. I don't understand why people have to pick apart movies to find meanings that they might not even represent. Just enjoy the film.

I've noticed the same with all these youtube film essay guys. A lot of times they over analyze the fuck out of movies. Renegade cut is especially good at this. Even here theres very little about the movie itself and more about what ideas it spurs in him and what the movie is supposed to tell you. Nerdwriter is guilty of this too, but at least he keeps his focus on the movie itself and never wanders off too much with his analysis.
