Lots of this was spin. Paul Reubens/Pee Wee Herman had magazines and picture books that you could literally purchase in a bookstore in the 1950's and 1960's. It's the same thing as having a scene of the 1980 movie The Blue Lagoon downloaded on your computer that has then-14-year-old Brooke Shields standing naked on camera. This was a movie that was shown in theaters across the world but if you have possession of it you technically have nude images of a 14-year-old girl...so aren't you a pedophile?
