above video is it being used yesterday for the first time in this conflict on Ukrainian nationalist positions in Eastern Ukraine
that weapon's been in Ukraine since the operation began, I've only seen one there & think it's more of an intimidation tactic than anything, there have been a bunch sent to Western Russia but only one inside Ukraine afaik & I think it's attached to the DPR forces
Russia has the most formidible artillery in the world I'd say, and their military doctrine's based around it.. I think they're pushing a bit harder now to clean up the Eastern districts & there should be a Ukrainian imlitary collapse there within about 1 week ... Kyiv regime's refusing to let anyone retreat, it's quite ugly.
Russia's introduced 3 new weapons in as many days: hypersonic missiles (used again today), suicide drones & this 'heavy flamethrower'
below is what an entire thermobaric battery can do ...just cooks everything
the shockwaves you see around the explosions are essentially vacuum hotspots - all air is sucked out and temperature skyrockets - burning anything in its vicinity at insane temperatures.

The [blast] kill mechanism against living targets is unique—and unpleasant. ... What kills is the pressure wave, and more importantly, the subsequent rarefaction [vacuum], which ruptures the lungs. ... If the fuel deflagrates but does not detonate, victims will be severely burned and will probably also inhale the burning fuel. Since the most common FAE fuels, ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, are highly toxic, undetonated FAE should prove as lethal to personnel caught within the cloud as with most chemical agents.
