damn that was fast and great sound too. impressed by how well the car did despite clearly being pushed to its limits.

Honda is bringing back the S2000 for 2019. At the same time Toyota is also bringing back the Supra. 2019 is going to be an awesome year for motorheads.

hope so but i'm suspicious they'll be nerfed. both those cars were popular because they were in the range of being a grade above standard cars but not into expensive car territory. my guess is they'll do too much to them and put the price out of reach or practicality.

I've been following the Supra and the Z4(same car essentially, albeit tuned differently no doubt) and the pricing will be semi-affordable, given inflation. Based on what I've read in car magazines and the like around 50-70k+ estimated, with the BMW Z4 ironically being the cheaper of the two. The Supra was pretty pricey for the time if I recall but the Honda 2000 was spot on affordable. These new iterations are not purist cars however as they are filled to the gills with safety and nanny tech, with at least the Supra not having a manual transmission, paddle only.
The Motor Trend editors that managed to drive both during preproduction testing both in Japan and Germany said, at that time anyway(Q3-ish, '18), that the Z4 was the superior car as it was more engaging and felt faster despite sharing a powertrain between the two(BMW B58, possibly also B48 for 2 Liter version); the Japanese engineers present for the press hands-on drive had ironically not driven the Z4 and were frantically asking the journalists present what it was like. The Supra at that time was "90-95% completed" according to the Toyota team and Motor Trend hoped that they could tune the Supra a bit more so that it is as engaging as the Z4, since they said it felt noticably slower.
I am personally apprehensive and don't think this new new Supra will have anywhere near the same charm or respect that it's predecessor garnered, but I hope I'm wrong. I think it even looks kind of bleh compared to the Z4. PS. Sorry for double pictures, don't know how to fix that.

Sure, it would be crazy if he were playing on mobile but judging by the graphics he's clearly playing on PC and this is pretty standard stuff on that platform.
