well the hair brained economic assault as you call it, (i call it ''don't invest in or buy from the enemy'') is the result of the attack on a European country, maybe you see it differently, we can acctualy take that kind of inflation rate without banks having to steal our money or lock our bank accounts, and don't start about inflation, the Russians have trouble buying almost all goods now, maybe they have hyperdeflated money for now... but no one to do business with.
The hyperdeflation makes no sense BTW so i am sure it will topple over in the next months to years.
If it is a good or a bad thing i leave in the middle, but don't glorify it.

Who said that? We were well on our way to become 100 percent electric, gas installations are replaced by electric, we don't rely on gas that much, Europe is the developed world, and Belgium only gets 3 percent of it's gas from Russia, pipelines are being layed as we speak BTW ; there is your financial bubble that will burst.
Also European houses have the highest energy efficiency standards in the world, so we won't go cold in winter.
Last year i never wore a coat outside, there are no winters anymore.
