wonder why German brands aren't more prominent in modern electronic device tech
do they mainly focus on EU market?

no, he's just living the life of a product meant for the chinese market. low quality, built with sub standard parts, meant for people that don't know any better and can't complain if they do

I don't know. When I grew up german audio electronics (except speakers) were not fashionable. People liked TV's and video but not audio. There are some high end niche companies around I think.
I had a Yamaha Receiver and Arcus (german) speakers, can't even remember the brand of my first CD player.
If I would need new audio equipment now I would buy from Teufel Audio, they are excellent quality and value for money. I have Headphones from them. They used to distribute only to germany but now send their stuff europe wide.
Britain have some Hifi electronic companies that sell worldwide but this is on the higher end of the spectrum.

yeah i still enjoy the good ol' german bureaucracy
I think it was sold to some french equity - but i dont know exactly. But the main location of business is still in Berlin and somewhat in Hamburg.
i have a pretty cheap stereo pair (+5years old) and this for my TV: https://teufel.de/cinebar-trios-surround-easy-51-set-l-105561000 (it is insanely good for the price)

My sennheiser earbuds are the best for bass-heavy music. True Wireless 3. Sounds like a nightclub in your ears. I've gone thru a lot of earbuds incl high end (consumer) ones & sennheisers were always the best, from mid-range to the best ones. Back in the day I had a pair of over-the-ear sennheisers & they also kicked ass.

The HD600s are legendary from Sennheiser. Really good for the price. I had a pair but switched to Audeze LCD2 Classic last year, sadly they are too heavy for 8hr Homeoffice :/
i ll have a look at those True Wireless - really looking for sth. light and portable.

afaik the only ones that compare for bas response are a Jabra set, I forget which model exactly. The Senheiser app is better though because you can boost the sub bass & get a little EQ. If I had to choose one based on looks I'd probly pick the Jabras but I care more about the sound.
