I am sorry but why would a store chain that existed for so long need investors?

Seems like a scam to me

It takes like 30 minutes for a person to come unlock the cabinet to get eye drops or razors. I wonder how long it will take for the robots to come unlock the cabinet, or maybe they will do a remote unlock and you have to request something over a video phone. "Can I please get the cabinet unlocked for some deodorant, I am but a sweaty meat popsicle"

The whole point of automation is meant for rationing. It will be tied to the Central Bank Digital Currency once the dollar collapses. It will be tied to your social credit score. everything will be behind armored glass and will be dispensed like a vending machine. You will pay through an app on your phone and eventually an implanted microchip.

All of this will be rolled out gradually, and the negatives will be hidden from the pubic until a sufficient percentage of the population has become tied to the system. After a couple years of running this currency you will start to see these impositions once people have put enough trust and comfort into it.

Been a bad boy, score is too low. When you scan an error will come up and you can't pay, and the item will not be dispensed.

Have too much of an item or item category within their (probably hidden) amount of time. Error.

Too much meat this week? Error.

Try to save your currency too much? That currency has expired and is now gone.

The smart grid is the gatekeeper to your freedom in the future.

QR codes and payment apps on your phone were just training for this. I have never used them, if anyone takes these predicted impositions with any degree of seriousness, stop using them now. Ideally get off your credit cards too if you can.

I called my credit card company years ago and asked them to remove the tap function from my cards. For a different reason entirely. In case my card was lost or stolen. They said they "can't" remove the function. I still use the PIN every time anyway.

I would also recommend stop shopping at Walmart. If you drive around a bit you can find the goods you need spread over smaller stores and many at comparable prices.
