Embalming is something literally unheard of in Germany for example. Why would you pump a dead body full of chemicals before they are burnt or buried?

think we've already had this convo like 6 years ago. can't remember the specs but i think it had something to do with either chems in embalming are restricted in germany or only certain people can handle the remains of the dead
anyways. germany does do it, just no alot. we do it so it preserves the body till the showing or wake. so if you go on a cruise and your mom dies, it might take you a week or two to get home for the wake and funeral.
