Women Drivers Add Drama

the one at 5:00, the lady in the black car and some random "witness" claimed that the dashcam driver was speeding and caused the accident, so the dashcam driver got charged with reckless driving. doesn't make sense because the light was still green for him so he has right of way. the cop wrote the ticket before the dashcam driver had a chance to show his dash cam footage, then the cop said he wouldn't look at it because the ticket was already written.

the description in the YouTube vid said the cop later asked the court to drop the charge of reckless driving. and the lady driving the black car was instead charged. but i'm guessing the cop only asked the charges to be dropped because the video went viral. the cop never looked at the video when he was on scene.

videos like these made me decide to buy a dash cam last summer. now i'm getting a 2nd cam to point to the rear. each one costs about $35-$40, and then add about $30 for 2 32GB memory cards, 2 3m USB cables, and 1 car adapter port. hopefully the cams last many years, at a cost of about $100. if the footage ends up useful, could save many times more $ in insurance premiums or tickets.
