I once bought a makita drill and thus I'm stuck with the brand because of the batteries! And of course the tool match my shoes!

I thoght (small) impact drivers were useless until I tried a good one, actually they are great. It is way less likely to mess up the screw heads with them and when set at the correct speed/torque they are very accurate. For working on a car (I do maintanance and repairs myself) the larger ones are a must.

They too noisy, not controllable enough for finer woodworking. Ok for decking .
I normally just punch nails in with my bare fists forget those fancy titanium hammers .
