I'd feel embarassed to receive even a quarter of that kind of treatment. You need to have serious ego problems to think that being treated like a big baby like that is a desirable thing.

And on top of that you're constantly surrounded by people who put on a fake smile but deep inside hate your guts. Which is downright creepy.

I would say how much they hate your guts versus how much they lap after your anus would depend on the relative nationalities, native class systems, and individuals, but yeah this is cringy as fuck. Accepting a lifestyle like this is deadly to the soul - this is dangerous shit. People who live like this as a matter course, since birth, are already living in a kind of breakaway, separate civilization - ancient folks would view something like this and believe this guy is a god. Humans who are treated like a god from birth have no reason to doubt it's more or less the case, and tend to regard the hoi paloi as somewhat expendable.
