DtRockstar1 records an extremely rare Corvette built by Joel Rosen of Motion Chevrolet. It's called the Maco Shark, which is inspired by Bill MItchell's Corvette Mako Shark concept car. What you see here is 1 of 6 built, and 1 of only 3 known to have survived. It was $17,000 in 1970, which was what it cost to buy a Ferrari Daytona at the time. It had 460 horsepower, which was stratospheric for its time. It is shown here winning several awards at the 2013 Concours d'elegance of America at St. John's in Plymouth, Michigan. Baldwin Motion was one of the high performance dealers, along with Yenko, Nickey Chevrolet, Royal Pontiac, and others. They are some of the most valuable muscle cars in the world.

Now I really am a petrol head and one of my all time favourite cars is the 1973 corvette.
I must say I really don't like this car. It's way too loud for my taste, both exhaust (and I have a US spec switchable exhaust on my 911 and always had an open exhaust on my bikes) and looks.
