seems like its leaving room for unintentional continued existence. like, you pass out, slip down off the chair, pulling on the hose and opening up a gap in the bag allowing oxygen in. so you end up laying on the ground for hours drifting in and out of consciousness till someone finds you

I know, right. All prepared, write a letter maybe, end up waking up in a hospital bed with a pounding headache and everyone crying and shit. That would suck. I guess a gun would be a sure thing. Cant wrap my head around the whole drowning thing. A couple weeks ago had a friend visit, said he had a friend fill his pockets with stones and drown himself last fall. Drowning seems like the worst way to go.

i'd be worried about waking up in the hospital and having brain damage to the point that you wouldnt be able to try it again but not so bad as you don't remember trying it in the first place.

Any inert gas like argon, helium, etc...I think nitrogen works too, suicide bag. 2-3 breaths and you are knocked out and gone.
