According to the complaint, Hari and two accomplices — 29-year-old Michael McWhorter and 22-year-old Joe Morris — were responsible for the bombing of a mosque in Bloomington, Minnesota, on Aug. 5, 2017, and the attempted bombing of the Women’s Health Practice in Champaign, Illinois, on Nov. 7. All three are now facing federal arson charges.

I think those 3 men should be charged with terrorism for the fact that they were following a political or religious ideology. However, you have to draw a line between the actions of a mentally ill person, a hate crime, and terrorism. Just because a mass shooting occurs, doesn't mean it's definitely terrorism. Adam Lanza and Sandy Hook, mentally ill, obviously. Anders Breivik WAS indicted on terror charges. Dylan Roof is questionable, but was charged with hate crimes instead of terror charges. Michael Xavier Johnson, who murdered 6 police officers and Dallas (politically and racially motivated) was branded as neither.
Point is, the whole "white terrorism" idea isn't just nonsense, it's actually racist. There are reasons why some people are branded terrorists and some aren't, and if you think that we should be changing the definition of a crime so that more white people could be branded as terrorists, then you're arguing with feelings, not facts.
Not saying the political system isn't racist or fucked up at times, it totally is. These guys should be charged with terrorism, you're right, but so should that black guy who burned down a black church and wrote "vote Trump" on the wall, back in 2016...
