John takes an anti-gunner shooting on the range. Thanks Governors Gun Club of Kennesaw, GA!
I've had the opportunity to do exactly this on two occasions and both time the person's opinion flipped 180 degrees. In simple terms, being anti-gun is to be uninformed which is easily corrected.

Shooting is fun. Shooting Bazookas or real machine guns is even more fun. Whether or not it is a good idea for a novice to jump from a small calibre pisol to an AK 47 is another question but the guy seems competent enough to evaluate the girl.
The question is: What is the definition of an "anti gunner"?

We can tell you skipped through most of the video.

I did indeed as I found it quite boring, Do I have to stand corrected on this part of the comment then?

They named the rifle he made her shoot (it's an AR, not an AK) and explained pretty well why it isn't an unreasonable step up from the pistol.
Most people would be shocked to see how small the caliber fired by that rifle is in comparison to, for example, a caliber commonly used for deer hunting. Even the AK doesn't really use that "big" of a caliber relative to that.

Thanks, I mis heard it then. In any case I was more interested in whether or not her opinion about guns and laws, rules and regulations somehow miraculously changed simply because she was at the range and it was "fun" firing a gun. It was quite disappointing that she was not asked about this, the reason, however, I think is quite obvious.

Well considering that her anti-gun stance was based on fear and ignorance, it's not miraculous at all that she would change her stance after having that fear and ignorance abated. How do I know this? Because that's what happened following my range trip with the two anti-gunners.

Do you really believe that the rather "pro gun video" would miss out on the most important content of an "anti gunner" changing their mind? Really?
And you are telling me that people you "taught" that wanted rules and regulations suddenly thought they are no longer required because shooting is "fun"? Which it is, btw.

What is the definition of an "anti gunner"?
gun - a weapon incorporating a metal tube from which bullets, shells, or other missiles are propelled by explosive force, typically making a characteristic loud, sharp noise.
anti- a prefix meaning “against,” “opposite of,” “antiparticle of,” used in the formation of compound words ( anticline ); used freely in combination with elements of any origin.
"anti-gun" is a colloquialism used as shorthand for anyone who promotes, favors, pushes, argues for the disarmament of a civilian population; OR advocates, both whole or in part, for the imposition of burdensom and useless regulations as a precursor for eventual disarmament.

So after the "fun day out at the range" do you think she changed her mind about guns and gun ownership issues simply because she enjoyed shooting in a controlled environment under close supervision and became a gun nut now?

It's a slow process, but yes. People rarely flip their views entirely in a single day. It takes time for the human mind to come to grips with the fact it is wrong. I know I didn't flip my views on religion over night. I really mulled that shit over for at least a month before finally admitting that I what I had been told to believe was all bullshit.
People who are HARDCORE gun haters don't change their minds like a switch either. At the very least she went home no longer having the irrational fear of firearms. At the very least, she's reassessing her belief that "guns are evil" therefore only evil people would ever want to possess them.
If a person like her were to reach the point of practical self-defense training and suddenly realize the feeling of freedom that comes with having the knowledge to defend your life with deadly force, I think she'd be all in.
I also noticed she had an Australian accent. That's a good indicator that her warped view of weapons is from years of Government sponsored anti-gun bullshit. All of which will need to be scrubbed away with real world experiences.

Can you give me the time stamp where she fired an AK-47 because I cannot find that part anywhere.
(Old Spike)
Somewhere he said "this is an AR 47" (EDIT: NOT AK as previously stated, my bad) or something in the gist of it. I will not watch the video again, skipped through most of it anyway.
More importantly I would like your opinin on my question above.
(Old Spike)
LOL!! Just ribbing you.
My answer is posted above.

Shooting a dshk is on my bucket list.
