Well he sort of fucked up by going stright to WikiLeaks. I mean, how difficult would it have been to find an anti-war Congressman and give all the documents to them. That's actually protected by our current laws. I could understand if he first looked for a legit outlet, got turned away and went to WikiLeaks as a last resort. But that isn't what happened. He took it directly to a foreign actor.

Manning went to the NYTimes & WashPost before going to Wikileaks but was turned away/ignored. There are official channels to use for whistleblowers in the US military/security apparatus but they never work & often lead to persecution. I have my doubts about a congressman being able to do anything when someone comes forward with such info. The only example I know of thate comes close & where the agent wasn't thrown to the wolves was Coleen Rowley who testified about FBI negligence pre-9/11.

Yea on a great many things I agree. But I find it really entertaining to watch him bitch about things on his show and from time to time he gets a few things right. As an example, he was one of the few leftists who didn't fall for the bullshit Russiagate conspiacy theory. He actually lost some of his fellow leftist buddies over it as his failure to follow along with belief in anything related to Orange Man Bad made him suspect in their eyes.

Still are. I like Tucker Carlson's commentary a lot, but if you ever watch Fox outside of prime time or on the weekends, it's almost indistinguishable from CNN or MSNBC. Basically, everyone that works in these mainstream news channels is a liberal or never-trumper. They all speak for the same uniparty bullshit, and they can all be swapped out for anyone at any other network and still fit in. I mean, fuck, they hired Donna Brazille on as a correspondent after even CNN wouldn't have her anymore. That right there should tell you exactly how much integrity they have as a news organization.
